Pakistani pugilists to feature in ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships 2019
Top three national pugilists will be taking part in the upcoming ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships 2019 which are scheduled to be held from 08 to 17 October in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates.a
Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF) have sent names of three top-notch professional boxers to feature in the upcoming ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships 2019 which are to begin its proceedings from 08 October to continue till 17 October at Fujairah in United Arab Emirates.
Col Nasir Tung, Secretary Pakistan Boxing Federation informed,
"We’ve sent entries of three boxers. We’ve some really talented boys who have the potential to win the competition. Our four-member squad, comprising three boxers and a coach will leave for the event in the first week of October to compete in the Asian Junior Boxing Championships 2019. "
The ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships' venue will be the newly built Zayed Sports Complex which has the capacity of 10,000 people. The last edition of the ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships was held in Puerto Princesa on August 2017 where Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, host Philippines and Japan claimed the gold medals.
Altogether, 26 champions will be crowned in the event in 13 women weight classes and also in 13 men categories as follows: 46 KG, 48 KG, 50 KG, 52 KG, 54 KG, 57 KG, 60 KG, 63 KG, 66 KG, 70 KG, 75 KG, 80 KG and +80 KG.
