Bilal Asim & Haniya Minhas crowned Rafum Punjab Junior Tennis C'ship champions
Bilal Asim and Haniya Minhas won the boys’ under-16 and girls’ under-14 singles titles respectively at the Rafum Punjab Junior Tennis Championship, which concluded here at PLTA Courts, Lahore.
Bilal Asim and Haniya Minhas won the boys’ under-16 and girls’ under-14 singles titles respectively at the Rafum Punjab Junior Tennis Championship, which concluded here at PLTA Courts, Lahore.
Bilal overcame Faizan Fayyaz 6-3, 4-6, 10-7 in the final, with the duo having teamed up in the doubles final where they lost 4-5, 1-4 to Abdul Hanan Khan and Hassan Ali. Bilal also clinched the boys’ under-14 title after he thrashed Shaeel Durab 4-0, 4-2 in the final.
Haniya was in equally immaculate as she overwhelmed Sheeza Sajid 6-2, 6-1 in the girls’ under-14 final. Asad clinched both the singles and doubles titles in the under-12 category, beating Ehtesham Humayun 8-3 in the first final and teaming up with him to outclass Zohaib Afzal Mailk and Haniya 4-0, 4-1.
Ameer Mohammad Mazari routed Ismael Aftab 8-2 in the under-10 final while Abdul Rehman and Qirat Kashif were the winners in the under-eight and under-six categories
