Mr Abdul Aleem Khan will grace the opening ceremony as the honorable chief guest of the event hosted by Chaudary Abdul Rauf while Nawab Malik Atta Muhammad Khan will be the umpire of the tent pegging event. Riders from around 100 clubs will participate in the tournament.

Tent Pegging is a cavalry sport, more precisely, a mounted game involving ground targets. The sport encompasses a class of mounted cavalry carrying an edged weapon on the horseback to get hold of the ground target. Tent Pegging is also described as “equestrian skill at arms”.
The two-day exhilarating event is also scheduled to demonstrate solidarity with Kashmiris of India’s brutal clampdown of the occupied region.
