Lahore to host National Triangular One-Day Women Cricket Championship 2019
As many as 42 players would be featuring in the upcoming National Triangular One Day Women Cricket Championship 2019 which is set to be held from 17 to 26 September at Lahore Gymkhana.
The National Triangular One-Day Cricket Tournament would be organized by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) that will feature as many as 42 players where the women cricketers would be provided with a chance to showcase their talent in a jam-packed cricket season.
This cricket event would also witness international commitments being made to the participating women teams as they will be seen playing in Bangladesh series in October and November, Asian Cricket Council Emerging Teams Asia Cup for ‘A’ Teams in October, England in December in the 7th round of ICC Women’s Championship and ICC Women’s T-20 World Cup in Australia in February and March next year.
The winner team will pocket PKR 500,000 and the Runner-up team will be collecting a cheque of PKR 250,000. In addition to this, for the first time, each player will be paid PKR 10,000 as match fee, while Kookaburra cricket ball will be used for the event to be played on a double-league basis.
All matches, including the final on 26th September, will be played at Lahore Gymkhana Ground and will start at 09:30 AM.
