Most successful Karate fighter of Pakistan, Saadi Abbas is all set to represent the country in yet another international event namely: Karate-1 Premier League Moscow to earn him a few more points to improve his ranking so he would be able to feature in the Karate event of upcoming 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Saadi remains the sole hope of Pakistan for the 2020 Olympics for which he needs to make a place in top five. He has been featuring in the Olympic qualifiers for the last few months with the support of Pakistan Olympic Association (POA).

He is currently ranked 18th and is expected to jump in ranking in the next few days following his splendid performance in the Karate-1 Premier League in Tokyo early this month as he went into the fights of -75 KG category where, although he was unable to win all of his competitions but his wins against Croatian and Turkish opponents helped him to further take up more points.

Saadi said that he could not feature in the Chile event because of shortage of time as he had no time even to submit papers for visa and so he is unable to go there but now he eyes the victory in Moscow event. Chile is to host Karate-1 Series A from 20 to 22 September.

Abbas seems to be confident of his win in the upcoming event in Russia as he says he had been training hard in Dubai as well,
