Karachi University beat CFC 4-1 to win Defence Day Exhibition Hockey Match
Karachi University produced a skillful game to win the Defence Day Exhibition Hockey Match by 4-1 at KHA Hockey Stadium, Karachi.
Defence Day Exhibition Hockey Match was played between Central Fitness Hockey Club and Karachi University at KHA Hockey Stadium where Karachi University produced a skillful game to win the match by 4-1 under the supervision of Karachi Hockey Association.
The match start on fast pace where both teams played brilliant high speed match and attacked at each other's goal for many times. In 2nd minute KU scored the first goal in 16th minute second goal was scored by KU. In second quarter of the match CFC started building pressure on KU and kept playing attacking hockey A Salaam scored the the goal for CFC.
Later in match KU score two goals one on penalty corner and last goal scored in 56th minute. At the end of the match Cheif guest presented the trophy to winning team. Goal keeper Umair played brilliantly despite 4 goals scored he saved 6 direct shots on the goal and was named as man of the match. Shield was presented to chief guest by Ahmed Mujtaba Khan Chairman CFC.
At this occasion Vice Chancellor Karachi Univesity Prof. Dr. Khalid Mehmood Iraqi was the chief guest. Commodore Saqib Khattak, Col (R) Muktiar A Sheikh & Mrs Rehana Mukhtiar (parents of Shaheed Pilot Marium Mukhtiar), Tahir Khan President KU Officer Association, Rashid Qureshi Director Sports and Physical Education, Basit Ansari Chairman Separtment of Health and Physical Education were among the guests.
