Usman 'The Asian Boy' Wazeer packs a punch for Pakistan by winning his 2nd professional fight
Proficient Pakistani boxer, Usman Wazeer convincingly ripped off his Thai counterpart in his second professional bout in World Ranking Event (2019) in Manila, Philippines.
Pakistan's name took to heights yet again on the boxing map as Usman Wazeer hailing from Astore Giglit-Baltistan pocketed his second international-professional fight triumph against his Thai counterpart by TKO.
Pakistani boxing champ entered the pavilion wearing traditional Gilgiti costume as he entered the ring on the tunes of the national song "Har Dil ki Awaaz.... Pakistan Zindabad", he did it again as he was declared the winner of the bout by technical knockout that is: TKO, which finally resulted in a 2-0 victory for him.
He made a winning start on his professional debut at the under card fight in Knockout Night Dubai recently against slightly heavier opponent Brahim Oubenais of Morocco and now when the 19 year old, Usman was set to feature in World Title Under Card Fight which was also his second professional bout, took on an Thai counterpart in a Super-Lightweight bout in a World Ranking Event (2019) held under MP Promotions, Knukled-head and Joven Sports Promotion.
Usman is a prodigy from Amir Khan Academy in Islamabad and made it to the Badou Jack Promotions Presents Knockout Night - Dubai with the support of Amir Khan promotions as the young boxer's exceptional skills impressed non-other than the King Amir Khan himself, who have been since backing Usman for his international fights.
Regarding his second professional triumph, nicknamed Usman "The Asian Boy" Wazeer wrote in a Facebook post,
"Alhamdulillah job done again! My second international professional fight win against Thailand by TKO. I name my this victory to the people of Kashmir, I and my people are standing side by side with Kashmiris. Long Live Pakistan."
Born out of Gilgiti, Usman is already Pakistan Youth ranked no. 1, HEC All Pakistan gold medalist, Quaid E Azam Games Bronze Medalist, Punjab Boxing Championship gold medalist and now an International Professional boxer with a 1-0 record.
