Karachi Patriots CC records first victory in Karachi Masters Cricket League 2019
Karachi Patriots CC beat AHM Pakistan CC by 10 runs to collect their first win of Karachi Masters Cricket League 2019 which is being held at Naya Nazimabad Cricket Ground in Karachi.
The Orchid School have organized a mega cricket event which has officially been named as "Karachi Master League" into the current year and is powered by Medicam. This event is featuring as many as ten (10) leading cricket teams belonging to the city of lights: Karachi.
Participating teams are: Karachi Stallions, Dolphins CC, Gladiators CC, Butt Brothers, Ammiz Trading, Bilal Associates, Karachi Patriots, Arsalan Iqbal CC, Haseen Habib CC and AMH Pakistan. Players from their respective teams will be seen competing will all their skills so as to earn top honors in the league.
GROUP DIVISION:
Group A: Karachi Stallions, Dolphins CC, Gladiators CC, Butt Brothers, Ammiz Trading.
Group B: Karachi Patriots, Arsalan Iqbal CC, Haseen Habib CC and AMH Pakistan.
The first match into this tournament was claimed by Arsalan Iqbal Cricket Club as they defeated their opponents Karachi Patriots by 35 runs while the second encounter's winner stood Arsalan Iqbal Cricket Team, who fell to Hassan Habib team by 10 runs.
However, the third match ended in Karachi Patriots' favor as the boys recorded their first victory into the tournament against AHM Pakistan Team by winning the match by 10 runs. Mamoon Imtaiz was awarded with the title of Man of the Match as his splendid score stood 5-19 (4) for which he was given Rupees 1,500 for his achievement.
SCORE CARD
It was announced at the Facebook page of Karachi Master League 2019 that more matches to be played in the tournament have been postponed due to weather conditions and the month of Muharram and will now resume its proceedings after 10th of Muharram.
