Jahanzaib & Bakhtawar seals Badminton titles of Quaid-i-Azam Games for Special Persons and Paralympics
Jahanzaib Iqbal and Bakhtawar Gul from Mangla won the gold medals in the badminton competitions on the opening day of the two-day Quaid-i-Azam Games for Special Persons and Paralympics here at the Pakistan Sports Complex, Islamabad.

As many as 150 special athletes are participating in the event. In the boy’s badminton event Jahanzaib won gold in the mentally challenged category while Mohammad Umer from Islamabad and Rabw’s Mohsin Ishaq clinched the silver and bronze medals.
Bakhtawar took gold in the mentally challenged category of the girls’ badminton event Samera Kainat and Faiza Nasir from Rabwa claimed silver and bronze respectively.
Federal minister for Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC) Dr. Fehmida Mirza inaugurated the event. Fehmida mirza presented first free membership of Pakistan Sports Complex to Special Children and she announced free membership for all special Children at Pakistan Sports Complex, Islamabad.
