Muhammad Jahangir's 5th Pakistan National Rated Chess Championship begins tomorrow
Several talented chess players would be seen competing in the 2019 Muhammad Jahangir's Pakistan National Rated Chess Championship which is all set to begin tomorrow and would end on 1st September at PSB Coaching Center in Lahore.
Chess Association of Punjab (CAP) and PAK Chess Club (PCC) is all set to organize another mega chess event, into the current year which will mark it's fifth edition and has been named as "Muhammad Jahangir's Pakistan National Rated Chess Championship".
This event will be hosted by Chess Association of Punjab (CAP), having competitions in three different categories of: Open, Women and Under-20 years of women.
Entry fee has been set as Rupees 500/- each for all three categories and the championship will begin its proceedings 31st August from 11:00 AM in which Women and Under-20 category contests will be held while 1st September will see Open category games being played. The total rounds will be 5 with time control of 15+10.
This mega event is offering an attractive prize pursue for the top ten position holders in each category among which the title winner will be awarded with a cash prize of Rupees 3,000 while the runner up will get 2,000 Rupees. The third position holder will bag Rupees 1,000 worth of cash prize.
Fourth and Fifth spot winners will get 800 and 700 Rupees prize, respectively whereas sixth to tenth position gainers will be having cash prizes of Rupees 500 each.
