IKO So-Kyokushin Karate Rawalpindi Division Championship 2019 concluded successfully

As many as 200 karatikas participated in this one-day IKO So-Kyokushin Karate Rawalpindi Division Championship 2019 which successfully wound up at Kyokushin Karate Centre in Sadiqabad, Rawalpindi.

The 2019 IKO So-KyoKushin Karate Rawalpindi Division Championship 2019 was organized by So-KyoKushin Pakistan Federation which feature as many as 200 fighters in several different weight category competitions.

Weight categories for male fights were: -40 KG, -45 KG, -50 KG, -55 KG, -60 KG, -65 KG, +65 KG and Open while women fights were held in two weight categories of -50 KG and +50 KG.

This event hosted fighters from Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Chkwal and Wahh Cant and the participating fighters from their respective teams were seen competing with all their skills so as to earn top spot in their respective weight class. 

Kyokushin Karate Centre Sadiqabad Dojo Fighters namely, Syed Waleed Hussain , Mohd Fakhrul Islam and Aman Jamil stood the winners in their respective weight classes of -45 KG, -55 KG and -60 KG. Among several talented karatikas, these fighters were able to defeat their respective opponents, taking home gold medals from this championship. 

Mohd Fakhrul Islam is also the first Chitrali to have won bronze medal in All Punjab Shin Kyokushin Karate, two years back while he also collected a silver medal in his tally at All Pakistan (National) Shin Kyokushin Karate Tournament 2018. 

So-KyoKushin Pakistan Federation President, Shihan Raja Khalid was the honorable chief guest who graced the event opened alongside Event Organizer, Shihan Syed Dildar Hussain, who at the end, also gave a ways trophies and medals to the high achievers of this event.
