Arya Sports & SHC Blues suffer defeats in SHC Independence Day Cup Color-kit T20 Cricket Tournament 2019
Thunder Wolves and Pakistan Lawyers Cricket Club (PLCC) defeated Arya Sports and SHC (Blues), respectively in the matches being played into the on-going 1st Independence Day Cup Color-kit T20 Cricket Tournament 2019 at TMC cricket ground, Karachi.
Thunder Wolves and Pakistan Lawyers Cricket Club (PLCC) with their best performers, were able to beat Arya Sports and SHC Blues teams, respectively, yet again in qualifying matches of 1st Independence Cup Color-Kit Cricket T20 Tournament.
Batting first, Arya Sports scored 108/8 with Zahid Umrani scoring 37 and Malik Mohammad Yousuf 20. Thunder Wolves struggled initially to chase the target, but Ahmed Khan (37) and Usman (22) guided them to a three-wicket victory in the last over.
While the second encounter witnessed Pakistan Lawyers Cricket Club defeating SHC Blues team by 70 runs. Batting first, PLCC scored 114/9. SHC (Blue) were bundled out for 48 in 14 overs. Pacers, Kaleem Burdee got 3 for 14, Hassan Mirza 3 for 3 and Mohammad Ali Lakhani 2 for 16.
The Sindh High Court (SHC) have organized the first ever Independence Day Cup T-20 Colour-Kit Cricket Tournament that is featuring two teams from SHC — Blues and Greens — Pakistan Lawyers Cricket Association, Karachi Bar Cricket Lawyers Club, Thunder Wolves and Arya Sports.
Players from these above mentioned teams are giving their best so as to earn the ultimate title of this event and are playing the matches on a single league basis.
