Blazers struggled hard to win a spot in Neighborhood Basketball League 2019 semis
Blazers team was given tough time by IBA as the final scoreline stood 60-59 in the second quarter final game played into the 2019 Neighborhood Basketball League which is being held at Neighborhood Park Clifton, Karachi.
IBA and Blazers teams were battling for a spot in the semi final stage of Neighborhood Basketball League (NBL) 2019 in the second quarter finals game where it was the determination and efforts of the boys from Blazers side that win at the end with a final score of 60 against their opponent's 59.
Both sides were drained, while looking to take the game home, but it still was not an embarrassing blowout for IBA team as they lost only by one point difference. Blazers’ Kenneth and Saad Khan connected on a miraculous pass to put the Blazers up 1 whereas IBA got a chance to take the lead at the free throw line but came up short, sending the Blazers into the semi finals.
The NBL player of the game went to Danial Mushtaq of Blazers for his 15 points with 4 assists and 15 rebounds while other players who performed well throughout the game were Muhammad Taha with 16 points, 2 assists and 4 rebound
along with Kenneth D Johnson with his 9 points, 3 assists and 15 rebounds, both from the winning team.
While from the losing side, it was Zia Ahmed who managed to score 18 points along with 1 assist and 12 rebounds. Also, Rehab Naeem's 21 points, 2 assists and 9 rebounds contributed well in losing sides 59 as total score.
