Dragons find themselves in trouble against Blazers in Neighborhood Basketball League (NBL) 2019
Blazers struggled against Dragons to defeated them on 57-55 score line to register their victory in the 14th game of on-going Neighborhood Basketball League (NBL) 2019 which is being held at Neighborhood Park Clifton, Karachi.
The most recent match played into the league was a battle between Blazers and Dragons team in which it was Blazers' players who won the 11th match on the final score line of 57-55.
Blazers in search of a win, faced the Dragons who were one win away from securing first seed but Blazers led majority of the first half, whereas, Dragons led most of the second half. With an excellent effort on full-court press defense from the Blazers and last minute 3 pointers from Saad Khan and Danial Mushtaq, Blazers' team comeback was enough to ice the game.
The game ended with Taha hitting the cold-blooded, game-winner in the dying seconds of the game, cold enough to put an end to the hot streak by the Dragons. Finally, the Blazers stole the game away from Dragons and went into playoffs with a winning start.
The NBL player of the game went to Muhammad Taha (Blazers) for his double-double performance of 16 points, grabbing 10 rebounds and 3 assists.
