Pakistan's emerging Taekwondo fighter, Fatima Khawar to feature in World Cadet Championships 2019
Now known, Pakistani Taekwondo athlete , Fatima Khawar is all set to show her fighting skills at the 2019 World Cadet Taekwondo Championships which are slated to be held from 7th to 10th August in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
One of the many talent, skilled and rising Taekwondo athlete from Pakistan have already proved her mettle in the recently concluded El-Hassan Taekwondo Championship G-1 2019 where she clinched a silver medal for the nation and now have become the very first female athlete who would be going to Uzbekistan to take part in World Cadet Taekwondo Championships 2019, where she will fight in - 47 KG weight category on 8th August.
Pakistan Taekwondo Federation (PTWF) President, Lt Col (R) Wasim Ahmed Janjua revealed this after an important meeting with Uzbekistan federation officials there yesterday saying
“Fatima displayed extraordinary performance in the recently-concluded event in Jordan, where she won silver medal for Pakistan for which w're fielding her in this international event as well.”
The World Cadet Taekwondo Championships 2019 would be having players of 75 countries to which Pakistan Taekwondo Federation seems confident of Fatima as she herself is highly confident to deliver her best and eager to win medal in this event. As it is pride and honor for her to achieve such a great milestone, she is fully focused and concentrating on this uphill-task.
While Fatima, for her win and this chance to represent her nation again in another mega world event, she thanked her Parents, Teachers, Federation, POA, PSB and especially IPC Minister, Dr Fahmida Mirza for lending a huge support to the Federation and taking very good care of athletes and establishing training camp at Pakistan Sports Board.
