Pakistan collects 5 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze medals in 5th Heroes International Taekwondo Championship

Team Urban Athlete Pakistan participated in 5th Heroes International Taekwondo Championship 2019 where it clinches a total of 11 medals in various competitions held in Bangkok, Thailand.

The 5th Heroes Taekwondo International Championship 2019 was held in the beautiful culture city, Bangkok Thailand from 27 to 28 July 2019 to strengthen the harmony of world Taekwondo lovers. It was an amazing opportunity for Taekwondo athletes of all ages and cultures to gather in promoting friendship and harmony, to improve the quality of life and health.


Where more than 20 nations and 1755 athletes featured from Europe, Asia and Africa, Pakistan's Team Urban Athlete also participated in this mega event where the green shirts produced incredible results as expected and collected to their tally a total of eleven medals all over from which five athletes were able to itch their name of gold medals while two players claimed silver medals. Four more Pakistani Taekwondo stars were able to win bronze medals. 


Before this event, several taekwondo fighters also proved their mettle in El-Hassan Taekwondo Championship G-1 2019 where the Pakistani stars were able to pocket two silver and six bronze medals and the winners include: Fatima Tuz Zahra Khawar, Taimoor Saeed, Danish,  Naqash Hamdani, Saad Haroon Khan and Jibran.
