CAS International Open Sailing Championship 2019 gets underway
The PAF Yacht Club is organising the second edition of Chief of Air Staff (CAS) International Open Sailing Championship, featuring 14 nations, will commence here at the Arabian Sea at the Korangi Creek on Wednesday (today).

The countries fielding their sailors are Pakistan
, Bahrain, Malaysia, Turkey, Indonesia, Thailand, Sir Lanka, Egypt, Tunisia, Greece, Croatia, Belgium, China and Myanmar.
According to Media coordinator of Pakistan Sailing Federation Mian Tofique Ahmad, the five-day event competitions will be held in four classes: Laser Standard (Men), Laser Radial (Women), RS:X Windsurfing Class and Optimist (U15 Boys & Girls).
The jury has three international judges, from Greece, Croatia, and Belgium, and two International Race Officers, from Greece and Tunisia. The technical aspect is being looked after by Pakistan’s renowned sailing official Capt (retd) A R Arshad, who is also Race Officer from Pakistan with Wing Commander Adeel Aslam Khan, General Secretary PAF Yacht Club.
Pakistan Sailing Federation (PSAF) is coordinating with the organisers.
