Pakistan 6-member squad to compete in Asia/Oceania IC Rod Laver Junior Challenge 2019

Pakistan 6 member IC Tennis team will participate in the Asia/Oceania IC Rod Laver Junior Challenge which is slated to be held from July 23-25 in Hong Kong.

Pakistan 6 member IC Tennis team will participate in the Asia/Oceania IC Rod Laver Junior Challenge which is slated to be held in Hong Kong.  

Pakistan team comprises of Muhammad Yahya, Hasheesh kumar, Varisha Khan, Versha Das while Muhammad Khalid Rehmani accompanied the team as a manager and Kamran Ahmed coach.

The International Lawn Tennis Club (IC) of Hong Kong is staging this year's Asia/Oceania IC Rod Laver Junior Challenge from July 23-25 at the Hong Kong Country Club.

Under-16 teams from Australia, Hong Kong, India, Japan, and Pakistan will battle for the right to advance to The Worldwide Finals in La Jolla, California, USA in 2020. Aside from the competition, all the participating juniors will assist in an IC Philanthropy clinic for disadvantaged kids.

The event takes place over three days with all teams playing each other on a round robin basis. Both singles and doubles will be best of three sets, with the final set decided by a 10-point super-tiebreak.

In the event that the match is deadlocked at 3-3, a 10-point super-tiebreak of mixed doubles will be played to determine the winner.
