Seventh seed Asim Khan overpowered unseeded Tang Ming Hong of Hong Kong by 3-1 to move into quarterfinal of QSF open with the final score line of 5-11, 18-16, 11-6, 13-11 in 66 minutes battle.
Fourth seeded Tayyab Aslam overpowered compatriot Amaad Fareed to book berth into the quarterfinal with the final score line of 11-8, 11-7, 13-11 in minutes.
Tayyab Aslam is drawn against fifth seed Youssef Ibrahim of Egypt while Asim will meet second seed Abdulla Al-Tamimi of Qatar in the quarterfinal round.
Earlier, Amaad thrashed Yuri Farneti of Italy 11-5, 11-7, 2-11, 11-3 in 35 minutes, while Tayyab and Asim got byes in the first round.
However, Farhan Zaman, Israr Ahmed, and Ali Bukhari lost in the first round. Tang Ming Hong of Hong Kong smashed Farhan 11-9, 11-8, 11-4 in 24 minutes.
Ahmed Hosny of Egypt overpowered Ali 11-6, 8-11, 11-7, 6-11, 11-6 in 50 minutes. Jean-Pierre Brits of South Africa won against Israr 7-11, 11-8, 5-11, 11-8, 11-7 in 59 minutes.
