Pakistan trashes India 13-2 to book berth in 14th West Asia Baseball Cup finale
Pakistan Baseball Team completely thrashed the arch rivals, India by 13-2 to book their place in the final of West Asia Baseball Cup 2019 which is being played at Diyagama Baseball Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
It was an INDO-PAK clash at the 14th West Asia Baseball Cup in which India fell behind early and could not come back in an 13-02 loss to Pakistan in their semifinal game.
The Indian team struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Pakistan, whose players dominated this encounter from the very first moment with their pro active game strategy, finishing the first innings with a 2-0 lead. Pakistani team further enhanced their running tally in the third inning with a 9-0 score lead.
Players from the rival nation failed to act on their game play and continued with zero score even in the 6th inning where Pakistan led with 13-0. But later by the 7th inning, India got lucky in marking two runs on the score board against 13 runs of Pakistan but the team was still far too behind to make a comeback and thus fell short to Pakistan's talented players, who finished the semifinal in their favor and booked a spot in the grand finale of this mega international event.
Originally, there was not suppose to be an INDO-PAK match but due to the change in schedule before the start of this tournament, the two rival nations competed against each other in the second semi-final encounter which is convincingly won by the great display of game from Pakistani team.
