Muhammad Bilal wins gold medal for Pakistan in Kim Unyong Taekwondo Cup 2019
Pakistan's emerging taekwondo star, Muhammad Bilal etched his name on the top spot, winning gold medal in 2019 Kim Unyong Taekwondo Cup which was held in Seoul, South Korea.
Pakistan Taekwondo Federation (PTWF) have been making remarkable wins in several international events with fields best of their players to these international events.
Muhammad Bilal Zuhayr is one of the many talented taekwondo athletes, from Pakistan Taekwondo Federation (PTWF), who have made the nation proud, being just 13 years old. He is not alone in his win of this Cup but yet another taekwondo fighter named: Muhammad Zayed who have also bagged Bronze medal in the same championship.
Bilal and Zayd have claimed the top spot and the third position in the G-1 Kayrugi: Under-13 category and -36 KG and - 28 KG weight classes.
“We had full faith in both juniors, as they had trained for two months under top coaches and both performed exceptionally. It is a huge achievement by the youngsters and a clear indication that the federation is investing on the future of country.”
“I have requested the PSB DG to allow us a senior camp for upcoming major tournaments, while we have also requested Punjab Sports Board (PSB) to guide us whether we should submit our case for holding Asian Junior Championship in Pakistan.”
