Four teams qualify for Double-Wicket Cricket Championship 2019 quarter-finals
Abu Rehan Club, Khizra Sports, Muhammad Hussain Whites and Vital Five Blues are the four teams that have entered the quarter-finals of Zone-1 Inter-Clubs Double Wicket Championship 2019 which is being played at UBL Sports Complex A ground in Karachi.
President, Zone-1 Cricket Association and former Test fast bowler, Jalal Ud Din informed that a total of 32 teams are representing various clubs in this 2019 of Zone-1 Inter-Clubs Double Wicket Championship and the matches contested yesterday resulted in four teams qualifying for the quarter-final stage.
The round of 32 matches as well as the pre-quarter-finals for the remaining 16 teams, placed in the bottom half, will be held today from which four more quarter-finalists will emerge to complete the line-up for the next round.
The quarter-finals, the semifinals and the final will be held on the third and final day of the event that is tomorrow.
This championship is offering attractive prize money of Rupees 10,000 for the winner team while the runners-up will get a cash prize of Rupees 5,000 along with shields.
