Karachi Colts seizes win of Shohada-E-Pakistan Basketball Tournament 2019 opener
Karachi Colts defeated Karachi Basketball Club on 38-36 score line to win the opening match of Shohada-E-Pakistan Basketball Tournament 2019 which is being played at Arambagh basketball court in Karachi.
Karachi Colts Basketball Club completed their sweep with an 38-36 victory into the very first game played into the tournament against Karachi Basketball Club.
The boys from both the teams played their hearts out as they left all on the line in this opening game but it was not an embarrassing blowout for Karachi Basketball Club players as they fell short on only two points.
Zain and Safeer with their 10 points each, led their team to success along with a valuable contribution from Muhammad Hussain, scoring 09 points while for the losing team, Ashraf Yahya scored 10 points while Saad Salah Ud Din and Asad Hafeez scored 9 points each.
Pakistan Sports Welfare Association (PSWA)'s Sahida Parveen was the honorable guest who graced the event open with PTF President, Khalid Jameel Shamsie, Abdul Nasir, Saqib Jameel Khattak, Engineer Mehmoozul Haq and Ghulam Muhammad present as well.
This tournament is holding competitions in two different categories of Seniors and Juniors in which as many as thirteen leading club's teams of the city of lights: Karachi and is being organized with joint efforts of Karachi Basketball Association (KBBA)and Pakistan Sports Welfare Association (PSWA).
