The reigning U-21 champion Ali Haider and U-18 champion Sheikh M. Mudassir won their opening group fixtures of IBSF U21 Junior World Snooker Championship 2019 at Qingdao China.

Punjab’s Sheikh Mohammad Mudassir was in wonderful form throughout the competition as he thrashed Liu Hongyu. Mudassir put a shiny start to win the first frame by 51-33.Placing in group F, Mudassir continued his aggressive play to won the frame by 67-59.
Mudassir putting pressure on the brilliant Liu as he didn’t allowed Chinese player to play freely to win the third frame by 67-60. Mudassir sealed a 3-0 success with scores of 51-33, 67-59, 67-60.
The 20-year-old Ali Haider regarded to be one of the most promising youngsters of the country, showed flashes of brilliance in his pursuit as he defeated Mehrshad Fatehpour Otaghvari of Iran by 3-0 with the final score line of 72-0, 79-11, 80-0.
Today, Ali Haider is drawn against Geng Mingqi of China at 8:00pm (PST) while Sheikh Muhammad Mudassir is up against Phuttakarn Kimsuk of Thailand tomorrow at 3:00pm (PST).
