The unseeded pair of Aisam and Santiago was defeated by the duo of Marcus Daniell of New Zealand and Wesley Koolhof of Netherlands 5-7, 7-6(6), 4-6, 4-6.
Earlier, Aisam and Santiago, ranked 50th and 59th, respectively, stunned the fourth seed duo of Mate Pavic from Croatia and Bruno Soares from Brazil, ranked 16th and 7th, respectively to move into the pre-quarterfinal round.
Today, Aisam ul Haq & Nadiia Kichenok will face fifth seeded pair of Wesley Koolhof
& KvtaPeschke in the round of 16 of mixed doubles.
Earlier, unseeded pair of Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi & his Ukrainian partner Nadiia Kichenok defeated pair of Han Xinyun & Aisam’s men double Mexican partner Santiago González by 2-0 to move into the second round of Wimbledon Open 2019 in 1 hour 12-minute struggle.
