3 Pakistani Judokas to feature in Budapest Grand Prix 2019 & Zagreb Grand Prix 2019

Three Pakistani Judo fighters will be participating in two international events named: Grand Prix 2019 & Zagreb Grand Prix 2019 which will both be held within the month of July.

According to the information provided by the Pakistan Judo Federation (PJF), Vice President Masood Ahmed, three top fighters in the sport of Judo will be representing Pakistani in the upcoming two international events, among which, two will be males and one female. 

Namely, the Judokas are: Shah Hussain Shah, Qaisar Khan and Amina Toyoda. These Judokas will be representing Pakistan in 100 KG, 90 KG and 57 KG weight classes.

The two back-to-back international events are: Budapest Grand Prix 2019 and then a Senior event; Zagreb Grand Prix 2019. The Budapest Grand Prix 2019 will be held in Hungary from July 12-14 and this mega international event will feature 05 continents, 85 nations, 641 Judokas among which 393 will be men and 248 would me women. 

Whereas the Senior event, Zagreb Grand Prix 2019 will be held in Croatia from July 26 to 28 which will have a total of 05 continents, 88 countries, 664 Judokas among which 393 will be men and 271 would me women.

Both of these international event holds importance as they are major qualifying events towards the road to 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
