Pakistan U-19 Cricket Team makes it a 5-0 victory against South Africa in One-Day Series (2019)
Pakistan Under-19 thrash South Africa Under-19 Cricket Teams by 116 runs in the fifth 50-over match and take 5-0 lead at the Pietermaritzburg Oval in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa.
Irfan Niazi’s 122 run and Naseem Shah’s three for 44 guided Pakistan Under-19 team to their 5th victory over South Africa Under-19.
Mohammad Wasim, Saim Ayub and Amir Ali took two wickets a piece for 29, 39 and 42 runs, respectively, as South Africa's Under-19 team was bowled out for 184 in 38.4 overs, chasing 301. Johathan Bird top-scored with a 95-ball 100. He hit 11 fours and three sixes.
Earlier, after electing to bat, Pakistan Under-19 team posted 300 for eight in the stipulated 50 overs. Irfan scored a brilliant 125-ball 122 featuring 15 boundaries. He formed a 157-run partnership with captain Rohail Nazir (52) for the fourth wicket.
For the home side, Siya Plaatjie and Lifa Ntanzi grabbed two wickets each.
Both teams now move back to Durban, where they will feature in the sixth and seventh match of the series at Chatsworth Cricket Oval on 5th and 7th July.
