Education FC etches their name on POPO FC One Day Football Tournament 2019 title
POPO Football Club One Day Football Tournament 2019 concluded successfully with Education FC taking home the final win at POPO FC Football Ground, Ayub Park in Rawalpindi.
POPO Football Club Rawalpindi organized a one day football tournament into the current year, which was officially named as "POPO FC One Day Football Tournament".
This event featured several talented teams from the twin cities, among which some were: P3 United, Khaplu FC, GB Strikers, CMR FC, Dada FC, Charsian FC, Black FC, Rebound FC, Rock FC, Roomi FC etc.
The tournament kicked off from sharp 07:00 PM and continued till 11:00 PM at Ayub Park, Rawalpindi, which saw players from their respective teams competing with all their stamina and skills so as to earn the ultimate title of this tournament but as the matches proceeded, Education Football Club and Dada Football Club stood the semi-finalist who then fought for the big win.
It was a thrilling game as both the team players were good in their foot work and game play, not allowing the opponent team's player to score at their side but mistakes are prone to happen, to which Dada Football Club took advantage two times managing to slot past two goals in the opposite net.
But on the other side, Education Football Club benefited thrice from the vulnerable side of their rival team's players, smashing three scores right into the back of the opponent's goal post.
The winner team that is Education Football Club was awarded with an attractive cash prize of Rupees 5000 while the runner up team got 2,500 Rupees worth of cash prize.
