Lahore Club of Punjab lifts All Pakistan Peace Football Tournament 2019 trophy

Lahore Club of Punjab claimed the 2019 All Pakistan Peace Football Tournament when they defeated North Waziristan Club in the final played at Parachinar, Kohat.

All Pakistan Peace Football 2019 saw several noticeable clubs belonging to different areas of the city participating, players from whom where seen competing with all their skills throughout the tournament so as to earn the ultimate title of the tournament. 

However, among various talented teams in the tournament, Lahore Club of Punjab and North Waziristan were the two finalists who made it to battle out for the title. When the grande finale kicked off, it was such a thrilling encounter between the two teams as players from both sides were not ready to let the other win with their best of defence, blocking and goal keeping skills.

But North Waziristan Club having the support of cheering spectators, got the lead through their right winger, Fahim Khan who traveled past three defenders and even the onrushing goal to slam in a beautiful goal but it was not enough to take home the final victory.

Just when the boys of North Waziristan started lacking in their stamina in the ground, Lahore Club of Punjab benefited from that moment on and took control of the match by dominating it and finally etching their name on the trophy of this mega football tournament.  

Commanding Officer Brig. Akhtar Aleem was the honorbale chief guest who witnessed this clash and saw the final winner being decided along with Col. Masood Akhtar, District Sports Officer Amad Hussain, District Coordinator, Muftaj Ullah, other officials, players and huge number of spectators present at that time.
