Pakistan Super Veterans Cricket Team unfortunate against Lancashire County in England Tour (2019)

Pakistan Super Veterans Cricket Team lost its second match of the tour against Lancashire County by six wickets at Heywood Cricket Club ground in Heywood.

In this 60 overs match, Pakistan Super Veterans Team Captain, Fawad Ijaz Khan won the toss and elected to bat first but the top order collapsed again and Pakistan Super Veterans lost 4 wickets for only 35 runs.  

The fifth wicket partnership put up 51 runs with Sajid Kabir again playing a good knock of 30 runs off 42 balls with three fours and skipper, Fawad Ijaz Khan scored 23 with 2 fours off 17 balls.

Nadeem Yousuf scored 29 not out and Babar Basharat scored 23 as Pakistan Super Veterans ended at 158 for 7 wickets in the 40 overs match.

For Lancashire, Peter Brown and David Bollin took 3 wickets each for 30 and 32 runs, respectively.

In response, Lancashire reached the winning target in the 32nd over for the loss of only 4 wickets. Ian Campell, who was later adjudged Man of the Match, scored 62 runs off 74 balls with 5 fours and opener, Steve Tickle scored 46.

For Pakistan Super Veterans, Amin Ullah Khan Raisani took 2 wickets for 17 runs.
