Pakistan U-19 Cricket Team to play one-day series in South Africa from June 22nd
Pakistan U-19 Cricket Team left for South Africa on Saturday to play a seven-match one-day series from June 22 to July 7 in South Africa.
The Pakistan Under-19 Cricket Team is all set to play a seven-match one-day series in South Africa. The team is led by
Rohail Nazir who is the not just the captain of the team but also is the wicket-keeper.
This series is part of Pakistan preparations for next year’s ICC Under-19 World Cup which will be held in South Africa during January-February.
The matches during this tour will be staged in Pietermaritzburg and Durban.
The 15-player Pakistan team includes a number of exciting players who performed well in the 3-2 series victory over Sri Lanka in Hambantota recently.
Rohail said, “The win over Sri Lanka U-19 has boosted our confidence for the South Africa series. The victory has given us a great platform to perform well not only on the upcoming tour but also later this year at the ACC U-19 Asia Cup in Sri Lanka and then the U-19 World Cup.”
