All set for $11,000 FMC International Men’s Squash Championship 2019
An international squash event names $11,000 FMC International Men’s Squash Championship exclusively for Pakistani players will be held in Lahore from June 11-15.
An international squash event exclusively for Pakistani players will be held in Lahore from June 11-15. Punjab Squash Association (PSA) is the organiser of this $11,000 FMC International Men’s Squash Championship under the supervision of World Squash Federation.
The main draw is of 24 places, including two wildcard entries and one invitee’s place.
The championship carries a prize money of $11,000 for men while $5,500 for women.
The world#55 Tayyab Aslam of Pakistan is the top seed, Asim Khan is the second seed, third seed Ammad Fareed, forth seed Israr Ahmed while Syed Ali Mujtaba Shah Bokhari is the fifth seed.
The players who got bye in the first round are: Tayyab Aslam(1), Khawaja Adil Maqbool (7), Zahir Shah (6) , Israr Ahmed (4) , Amaad Fareed (3) , Syed Ali Mujtaba Shah Bokhari (5)Danish Atlas Khan (8) and Asim Khan (2) are pre-quarterfinal of $11,000 FMC International Men’s Squash Championship.
Last year, Egypt's Youssef Soliman annexed the FMC International Men's Squash Championship 2018 title after defeating Malaysia's Ivan Yuen by 3-2 in the final played in four-walled glass court installed here at a local hotel in Lahore.
