Islamabad's Black FC to represent Pakistan in Red Bull Neymar Jr’s Five World Finals 2019

Black Football Club defeated Northern United FC and Qrp FC in the National Finals, qualifying to represent Pakistan in the World Finals of Red Bull Neymar Jr’s Five Football Tournament (2019) which is set to be held in Brazil this year.

The country qualifiers for Red Bull Neymar Jr’s Five World Finals 2019, in Pakistan kick started in Karachi, before moving on to Islamabad and Lahore. Once the tryouts were done, the top teams from each city faced each other in the national final in Lahore, which provided the winner team a chance to represent the country in the Red Bull Neymar Jr’s Five World Finals 2019, in Brazil.

The grand Nation final was a thrilling match between the city qualifier from Karachi, Northern United FC and Black FC of Islamabad as both the team players did not let the other get a chance to goal in the entire 10 minute match, ending  it in no one’s favor. To determine the final winner, both the teams sent one player each to play in which Black FC’s Faheem scored first, thus led his team to the grand victory as well as the chance to represent Pakistan at the Red Bull Neymar Jr’s Five World Finals 2019, in Brazil.

The Karachi tryouts had a total of four qualifying rounds which were played at Hill Park. A huge number of football clubs participated in the qualifiers as the first qualifier stage had 31 teams among which Abdul FC stood the winner. Then the second qualifier had 32 teams in total in which Steeltown FC took the win. Third qualifier had 30 teams among which Northern United FC claimed the final win. The last qualifier also had a total of 32 teams in which Prestige FC clinched the victory. Now these four finalist of the qualifiers fought the final battle for Karachi in which Northern United Football Club came out to stand as the sole winner from Karachi city.  

Then the tryouts moved to the federal capital which had 64 teams in total which were divided in 16 groups and all the matches were played at the Total football ground in Ayub Park. Black Football Club was among the huge number of competing teams whose players came out the strongest to win the Islamabad qualifying round.

The Lahore city qualifying matches were played at the Punjab Stadium in which total 69 teams were competing which were divided into 16 different pools and Qpr FC claimed the final win by defeating Uprising FC. 

CITY QUALIFIERS:

1. Northern United FC players: Sohail, Jibran, Faheem Ali, Yaseen Khan, Shakeel Ahmed, Jaffer Ali Khan, Irfan Khan (captain).

2. Black FC players: Sami Khan (captain), Awab Haider, Fardeen Ebadi, Kawish Saleem, Muhammad Uzair, Rana Abbas and Muhammad Yaseen.

3. Qpr FC players: Hassan, Azadar, Ali, Waheed, Muhmmad and Khan.
