Aisam & Robert hopes fall in quarters of Heilbronner Neckarcup 2019

Pakistan’s tennis ace Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and his Swedish partner Robert Lindstedt lost to unseeded pair of Hugo Dellien & Carlos Berlocq in the quarterfinal of the Heilbronner Neckarcup 2019 in Heilbronn, Germany.

The third seed Pak-Swedish pair couldn't performed brightly in the last eight of Neckarcup as the pair of Hugo Dellien & Carlos Berlocq overpowered Pak-Swedish hopes with the final score line of 4-6,3-6.

Earlier, the duo of Aisam and Robert defeated Peter Heller of Germany and Aslan Karatsev of Russia 6-4, 6-4 in their first round clash. 

Pak-Swedish duo briefly teamed up in 2017, capturing their first title of ATP World Grass Court Tennis Championship 2017 held in Antalya, but they wouldn’t pursue a long-term partnership.

World no 62 Aisam ul haq Qureshi reached a high ranking in doubles of No. 8 in 2011, has won 18 tournaments, and has reached the quarterfinals or better in each of the four Grand Slams. 

World rank no 61 Robert Lindstedt a Swedish professional tennis player, who turned pro in 1998, and is a doubles specialist. His biggest title has been the 2014 Australian Open with partner Ukasz Kubot. He is also a three-time Wimbledon finalist with former partner Horia Tecu.
