Quetta secures top spot in All Balochistan 2nd Kickboxing Championship

All Balochistan Kickboxing Championship came to a successful end with Quetta team etching their name on the first position, this championship was held in the provincial capital of Balochistan, Quetta.

All Balochistan Kickboxing Championship 2019 was organized by Balochistan Kickboxing Association, into the current year which marked its second successful edition and featured a total of 230 kick boxers from twelve districts across Balochistan.

Participating divisions included: Quetta, Zhob, Pishin, Bolan, Mastung, Ziarat, Loralai, Sibbi, Naseerabad, Killa Abdullah, Noshki and Harnai. Fighters from their respective district teams where seen in good shape and were competing with all their might so as to win top honors in this mega championship. 

Among the above mentioned teams, Quetta trounced over other enemy teams with claiming nine gold and three silver medals and was followed by Loralai team, whose boxers secured runner-up trophy and Pishin team, settled for the third position.  

Assistant Director Sports, Muhammad Asif Langov was the honorable chief guest, who graced the event open while Haji Mehmood Dummar was the guest of honor on the closing ceremony of the event, who gave away trophies, cash prizes and certificates to the high achievers of this championship.

Addressing on the occasion, Haji Mehmood Dummar said,
"The youth in Balochistan have budding talent that need to be flourished. The sports activities are extremely important for youth as the sports play an important role in setting up a healthy society.” 
President Balochistan Kickboxing Association, Sami Ullah Kakar, Chairman Balochistan Kickboxing Association and Secretary General Pakistan Kickboxing Federation, Mansoor Ahmed Durrani, Director Youth Affairs, Muhammad Afzal Sulehri, President Balochistan Olympic Association, Sher Muhammad Tareen, Malik Afzal Awan and Haji Mehmood Dummar were also present on the final day of the event who witnessed the winners being decided.
