Prolific golfers, Parkha Ijaz & Aania Farooq to feature in 27th Singha Thailand Ladies Open Golf C'ship
3-member Pakistan's ladies golf team departed for Thailand to take part in 27th Singha Thailand Ladies Open Golf Championship which is scheduled to be ehld from 14 to 16 May at Amata Spring Country Club in Thailand.
Talented Pakistani golfers, Parkha Ijaz and Aania Farooq left for Thailand to prove their mettle in the 27th edition of Singha Thailand Ladies Open Golf Championship. They are accompanied by their Lady Manager, Mrs Zeenat Ayesha.
The 27th Singha Thailand Ladies Open Golf Championship is organized by Thailand Ladies Golf Association and is co hosted by Amata Spring Country Club. This championship will be contested over three rounds from 14th to 16th May and the events include the individual titles and the team titles.
The Individual titles have three segments, one being the title winner and two more are for those bearing a handicap of 12.9 and below and age 35 and over, and those having a handicap of 13 to 18 and same age group as the former category. For team competition, one segment is the Open Championship Team and others are Mid Amateur I and Mid Amateur II.
Besides these categories, ladies with a handicap above 18 and age bracket 55 and above are eligible to play in the
Evergreen category.
Parkha Ijaz having the handicap of two and Aania Farooq possessing a handicap of five, these skilled ladies golfers of Pakistan are riding with high hopes from the country to make their nation's flag fly high in this mega international golfing event.
This competition is going to be a tough fight for them girls as phenomenal talents from counties like Singapore, Malaysia, India, Sri Lanka and the hosts Thailand will also be seen in action at this championship.
