Leisure Leagues hosted one-day training camp for school students under Italian coaches

Italian professional coaches, Mirko and Federica conducted a one-day training camp for school going children at Karachi’s DHA Rahat Stadium where more than hundred children participated.

The camp was organized by Leisure Leagues under the auspices of World Group and Trunkwala Family. World Group’s initiative Leisure Leagues has been promoting the game small-sided football in the country for over two years and has been behind sending Pakistan team to Socca World Cup last year.  

More than hundred youngsters – both boys and girls between the ages of 10 to 18 hailing from 10 schools participated in the camp where they received physical training as well as basic football coaching.

The Italian coaches on the occasion said that Pakistani youngsters possess immense natural talent and all they need to attain is proper physical fitness that would come with proper physical training and good coaching.

The coaches said that if Pakistani children receive similar training and coaching as compared to other renowned football playing nations then Pakistan players in near future could also make their presence felt in the international football arena as well.

They praised also World Group and Trunkwala Family for its Leisure Leagues initiative that has reached to all urban and remote areas of the country, promoting small-sided football in the country.

Schools’ heads and Parents of children attending the camp were also present on the occasion, who praised Leisure Leagues for holding the event. They said that such events would bring young players learn the game of football and benefits of staying healthy as well.
