Lyari Labor Welfare Center bags 4 golds to win All Karachi Labor Day boxing event 2019 title
The 2019 All Karachi Labor Day boxing event came to a successful end with Lyari Labor Welfare Center claiming the title with four gold medals at Ustad Muhammad Sattoo Boxing Stadium (LLWC) in Karachi.
Karachi South Boxing Association (KSBA) in collaboration of Sindh Boxing Association (SBA) organized the All Karachi Labor Day Boxing Event 2019 that featured competitions only in boys’ category and the participating boxers were of 14 years of age.
Fights were contested in ten (10) different weight categories which included: 28 KG, 30 KG, 32 KG, 34 KG, 36 KG, 38 KG, 40 KG, 42 KG, 44 KG and 46 KG. Fighters in their respective categories were seen competing against each other with all their might so as to earn top honors in the event.
General Secretary Karachi South Boxing Association (KSBA), Abdul Razak Baloch while addressing the participating fighters, he expressed:
"Witnessing this much discipline and performance of these boxers have impressed me a-lot. These fighters are polishing Lyari's name with their hard work, discipline and efforts. And I hope that they keep moving further with their passion and work in this sport and maintain it for life."
A total of 56 boxers took part in the competitions in their respective weight categories among which, a total of ten (10) final fights were contested whose winners took home, gold medals, one each.

6. Danish defeated Manan
7. Muzammil defeated Sarfaraz
8. Tabarak defeated Naseer Muhammad
9. Zahid defeated Mudasir
10. Arsalan defeated Shayan
Lyari Labor Welfare Center stands on the top spot with winning four gold medals, followed on the runner-up position by SMBC Club, whose three fighters won gold medals.
Meher Bakhsh, former President and Coach of Karachi South Boxing Association (KSBA), was the honorable chief guest who witnessed these fights being conducted and later distributed trophies, medals and certificates among the high achievers of the event.
