Najeeb Ullah Khan overcome Defending Champion Tanveer to crown National Sailing Championships 2019 Champion
Najeeb Ullah Khan of Navy won the championship after a very tough competition against defending champion Muhammad Tanveer of PAF who finished second overall.
The National Sailing Championships 2019 in three Olympic Classes of boats concluded after protest hearing by the national jury.
The players had tough time due hot weather conditions in Karachi but despite of that, good competition was observed throughout the championship. All the participants displayed positive attitude and character.
In Laser Standard category of boat, Najeeb Ullah Khan of Navy won the championship after a very tough competition against defending champion Muhammad Tanveer of PAF who finished second overall.
In the 470 Class category competition, pair of Mr Xerxes Avari and Mr Mehboob of Karachi Yacht Club dominated throughout the races to win the title against defending champions Rehman Ullah and Khalid Hussain from Navy who managed second position.
In the Windsurfing RSX Class category, Qasim Abbas of Navy had comfortable win to defend his title successfully followed by Muhammad Sajjad of PAF as Runnerup.
