Pakistan Green beat Pakistan Red 2-1 to win U-15 Exhibition Baseball Match
An U-15 exhibition baseball match between Pakistan Green and Pakistan Red teams was played at Baseball Ground, Pakistan Sports Complex in Islamabad.
As disclosed by Sh. Mazhar Ahmad Secretary General, Pakistan Federation Baseball, this exhibition match between Pakistan Green and Pakistan ed teams, whose players are of 15 years of age was played for the preparation of Pakistan Under-15 Team for the participation in BFA U-15 Asian Baseball Championship which will be held in China from August 19 to 25, 2019. World's top teams: Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong are to participate in this international event. Top 2 teams will participate in U-15 Baseball World Cup 2020.
In this exhibition match, Pakistan Under-15 Green team dominated the game and with the boys brilliant performance, the team was able to take home the win of the game. Pakistan U-15 Red suffered a fall by 2-1 as the final score.
Under-15 Players of National Baseball Academy, Yousafzai Baseball Academy KP and players from NMA (FATA) participated in this match. Pakistan Army National Baseball team also participated in the event.
Akbar Hussain Durrani, Federal Secretary Ministry, Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC) was the honorable chief guest along with Arif Ibrahim, Director General Pakistan Sports Board. Syed Fakhar Ali Shah, President Pakistan Baseball Federation along with Fakhar Amir Kazmi, Legal Advisor, Tahir Mehmood, Finance Secretary and Shams Ul Islam Khan Lodhi, Coordinator (Islamabad) Pakistan Federation Baseball were also present on the occasion.
