University of Punjab win 42nd All Pakistan Inervarsity Squash Championship 2019
University of Punjab overpowered defending Champions University of Peshawar by 2-0 to win the 42nd All Pakistan Intervarsity Squash Championship at NUST H-12 campus, Islamabad.
University of Punjab overpowered defending Champions University of Peshawar by 2-0 to win the 42nd All Pakistan Intervarsity Squash Championship.
The third and fourth positions were clinched by University of Karachi and Abdul Wali Khan University, respectively. The event was jointly organised by National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST) and Higher Education Commission (HEC) at NUST H-12 campus, Islamabad.
As many as 18 universities from all over Pakistan participated in the championship. Mr Faisal Butt, DG Sports HEC, graced the occasion as chief guest and distributed trophies and cash prizes among the top 3 teams.
He commended the NUST sports branch for organising the event so well, and also spoke high of NUST endeavours for the promotion of healthy competitions of sports amongst students through the development of state-of-the-art sports infrastructure.
