All Pakistan Girls and Boys Table Tennis Championship continues under the aegis of District Govt and District Sports Officer Charsadda at Abdul Wali Khan Sports Complex Charsadda.

Deputy Commissioner Charsadda Adeel Shah was the chief guest on this occasion who formally inaugurated the Championship. Secretary KP Table Tennis Association Kifayat Ullah Orakzai, former President Sports Writers Association, KP Nadir Khawjah, DSO Tehsin Ullah, officials, players were also present.
A total of 25 boys and girls from Islamabad and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are taking part in the Championship carrying Girls Singles, Boys Singles, Team event and Mix doubles.
In the opening match promising Ummam Khawjah defeated Basit Ali by 2-1, the score was 11-7, 8-11 and 11-9 while Iqra Rehman beat Nimra Rehman by 2-1, the score was 11-7, 6-11 and 11-8.
Speaking on this occasion, DC Charsadda Adeel Shah lauded District Govt and District Sports Officer for holding the Championship in which players from Islamabad and KP are taking part. He said such activities would help in promoting the game at one side and on the other providing due opportunities to the players to come and show their hidden talent.
He termed the competitive exposure vital for learning good things. He said Charsadda is equipped with international standard sports facilities in the shape of Abdul Wali Khan Sports Complex and assured that more games would be organized at national level.
