Patron’s Trophy Grade-II Cricket Tournament 2019 second phase gets underway
The second round of the Patron’s Trophy Grade-II 2018-19 will commence today across almost eight (8) different areas of the country.
According to the information provided by an official of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the second round of the matches to be played into the Patron’s Trophy Grade-II Cricket Tournament will start from today and will continue till 20th April.
A total of about 16 teams are competing in the 2nd Grade of this tournament, which has been organized by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The participating 16 teams have been divided into 4 pools. The semifinals will be played at the Diamond Cricket Ground and Pindi Cricket Stadium from 27-29 April.
In Pool A, Omar Associates be up against Civil Association Authority (CAA) at State Bank Ground and Haideri Traders will compete with Navy at NBP Stadium, both in Karachi. Candyland will fight for the win against Ghani Glass at Rana Naveed Academy, Sheikhupura while Port Qasim will face Higher Education Commission (HEC) at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad in Pool B matches.
In Pool C, Army is be battle with Pakistan Air Force (PAF) at Army Cricket Ground, Rawalpindi while State Bank and Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will play at Diamond Cricket Ground in Islamabad. Railways with Sabir's Poultry and K-Eltric with Karachi Port Trust (KPT) will have matches in Pool D at KPT and LCCA Ground in Karachi.
