Hassan Hamid wins Lahore qualifier of Turkish Airlines Golf Trophy 2019
Over a hundred successful golf playing amateurs, Hassan Hamid was the one to excel and qualify for the final of 2019 Turkish Airlines Golf Trophy at Royal Palm Golf and Country Club Golf Course in Lahore.
For the selection of a finalist from Pakistan who qualify to play in the grand final of Turkish Airlines Golf Trophy 2019 which is due to take place in Turkey in the first week of November 2019, several eager and skilled golfers, over 25 single handicappers participated in this championship.
Among which the notable ones were: Hassan Hamid, Amir Mehmood, Shoaib Bokhari, Azfar Hassan, Harris Naseer, Faisal Ali Malik, Faisal Sayid, Farid Malik, Shahid Abbas, Shoaib Shams, Dr Tariq Malik and the 15 year old, international golfer, Damil Ata Ullah.
Over these mentioned and various other participating successful golf playing amateurs, Hassan Hamid is the one who excelled and won the chance to play in the final of this prestigious international golf event as at the end of the rounds, he stood to be the Grand Finalist, who won the Lahore qualifier with 41 points. This competition was based on the stable ford format and for the successful running of this championship, Harry Tomlinson of Turkish Airlines was there to supervise the rounds.
Hassan had a commendable score against top golfers like Amir Chaudry, Imran Haider and Waleed Zubair. Imran aggregated 40 points and lost the trip by just one point whereas Amir and Waleed had 39 points.
The reward for Hassan Hamid of this victory got him a gold trophy and a model aircraft and also a chance to win the trophy of Turkish Airlines Golf Tournament 2019 in November.
