Former Mr. Pakistan Yaseen Khan wins Hidayat Classic Bodybuilding title
Former Mr. Pakistan Yaseen Khan secured the top spot in the 95 KG wieght category and won the title of Hidayat Classic Bodybuilding Contests which successfully concluded at Nishat Hall in Lahore.
More than 120 players participated in the Hidayat Classic Bodybuilding Contests, and the body builders belonged from across the provinces of the country including: Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Karachi. This contest included ten (10) different weight category competitions that are: 55 G, 60 KG, 65 KG, 70 KG, 75 KG, 80 KG, 85 KG, 90 KG, 95 KG and 100 KG.
Among the several participating body builders, the top spot in both the 95 KG and 100 KG weight classes is won by Former Mr. Pakistan, Yaseen Khan. The 55 KG weight category tile was won by Tariq Khan while Daniyal Khan bagged gold medal in 60 KG. Salman and Gul Khan of Karachi and Kishwar Ali secured first positions in the 65 KG, 70 KG and 75 Kg weight categories. Whereas, Ayaz Khan from Mardan was declared the winner of 80 KG and Momin Khan claimed the 85 KG competition. Akhtar Bilal won in 90 KG weight class.
Each of the above mentioned winners were awarded with a Motorbike along with trophies and attractive cash prizes.
At the concluding ceremony of the contest, Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani lauded the organizing committee for holding this event in such a befitting manner and said that the present government is very keen to have such like activities by indulging youth in healthy sports activities and that is why steps have been taken to upgrade the exiting sports facilities besides developing sports infrastructure in each of the 104 Tehsil including 25 Tehsil of the merger tribal districts.
He said youth are the real builders of the nation and all responsibility rests upon their shoulders for this purpose youth should make themselves ready for the future challenges. The government's main focus is given to education, sports and healthcare facilities.
Minister for IT Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kamran Bangash said that:
"Youth participation is the active engagement of young people throughout their own communities. It is often used as shorthand for youth participation in many forms, including decision-making, sports, schools and any activity where young people are not historically engaged. There are various models of youth participation which can be followed when attempting to get young people involved with decision making or acting for change. Youth empowerment is a process where children and young people are encouraged to take charge of their lives. They do this by addressing their situation and then take action in order to improve their access to resources and transform their consciousness through their beliefs, values, and attitudes."
Speaker Provincial Assembly Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani, MNA Haji Shoukat Ali, Minister IT Kamran Bangash, Secretary General Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation, Tariq Pervez, Secretary and President General, Sindh Bodybuilding Association, Saeed Jamil and Tariq Zafar, Ustad Rehmat Ullah, Ustad Jamil Ur Rehman, Regional Sports Officer, Jamshed Baloch, members of the City District Governement, Ustad Ajmal Khan, Ustad Ilyas, Haji Zahir Shah, Organizing Secretary, Haji Hidat Ullah were present at the contest who witnessed the competitions being conducted.
