1st CM Punjab Gold Cup Women National Power-Lifting C'ship from 14th April
Pakistan Power-Lifting Federation is organizing the first ever Chief Minister Punjab Gold Cup Women National Power-Lifting Championship which will be held from 14 to 16 April at Nishtar Park Sports Complex, Qaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Pakistan Power-Lifting Federation in joint efforts with Sports Board Punjab (SBP) is organizing Chief Minister Punjab Gold Cup Women National Power-Lifting Championship for the first time in history in which power-lifters belonging to several departments and provinces of the country will take part.
The competitions will be held in eight (8) different weight categories of 47 KG, 52 KG, 57 KG, 63 KG, 69 KG, 75 KG, 84 KG and +84 KG. Power-lifters will also be seen competing for the title win of Squad, Bench Press and Dead Lift contests.
Participating teams include: Pakistan Army, Police, Railways, Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA), Sindh, Punjab, Baluchistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Participants from these mentioned teams will be seen in action, competing with all their might so as to earn the ultimate title of the championship.
Malik Umer Farooq, Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab for Youth and Sports has been decided to be the Chairman of the organizing committee for this championship.
