Colony FC Blue wins 8-Team Leisure Leagues Zafarwal 2019 title
With the loss of just one match, Colony FC Blue secured the top spot in 8-Team Leisure Leagues Zafarwal 2019 football tournament which concluded successfully at Colony FC Cantt Football Ground in Zafarwal.
The Eight-Team Leisure Leagues 2019 football tournament is among several other football leagues by Leisure Leagues in Pakistan, in which Colony FC Blue claimed the title by winning 13 of their 14 matches played with the respective opponent teams. As the final winners, the Colony FC Blue was awarded with Rs. 20,000 as cash prize by accumulating 26 points with an impressive goal difference of 57.
The other
eight participating teams included: Bobak FC, Ludhar FC, NAFC, Chaura FC, Prince FC, CFC Red, Real Champ and CFC Blue.
Prince FC manage to secure the second position and a prize purse of Rs. 10,000 in the small-sided league. They won 12 matches to collect 24 points while the third spot went to Bobak FC with 19 points and Ludhar FC settled for the fourth position with 15 points.
The closing ceremony was attended by Ansar Waraich, Qari Muhammad Ramzan and Kashif Mushtaq as chief guests. The guests praised World Group and Trunkwala Family for promoting football in the city. They added that it would encourage youth to involve in healthy activities.
