Lyari "Portugal" wins Leisure Leagues 8-Team Football League 2019 title
Lyari "Portugal" Football Team won the title without losing a single game in the 2019 Leisure Leagues 8-Team Football League which successfully concluded at Pumping Football Ground in Karachi.
Lyari’s Shafi Mamdan, which picked the name of their favorite international football team Portugal, won Leisure Leagues eight-team league without losing a single game in seven matches throughout the league which concluded successfully at the Pumping Football Ground in Lyari., Karachi.
Portugal accumulated 12 points – winning five while drawing to top the league’s points table and the title with a goal difference of 10. Lyari’s Sajdi Balouch, which picked Argentina as their team name in the innovative league, secured second position with 10 points, winning five of the seven matches while losing two games.
Naka Mamdan, nicknamed Croatia in the league, occupied third place on the team’s table with eight points – winning three games while losing two and drawing two. While Lyari Brothers, named Brazil, came fourth with two wins, three draws and two defeats, which accumulated to seven points.
Germany (Singoline Star), Spain (Young Tuglag), Belgium (Sanhaf Balouch) and France (Lyari Lebar Sentar) occupied remaining four spots respectively on the points table.
