Sindh claims double crown of Inter-Provincial Men & Women Netball Championship 2019
Sindh team won both the titles in men and women category of Inter-Provincial Men & Women Netball Championship 2019 which successfully concluded yesterday at Pakistan Sports Complex in Islamabad.
The 2019 Inter-Provincial Men and Women Netball Championship concluded successfully with Sindh winning both the titles of men and women categories and emerged the champion team. Men's final game won by the strong side of Sindh team as the boys convincingly marked their victory against the weak Balochistan team by 12-9 goals.
The final teams that were competing in the Women's category were Sindh opposite Giligit Baltistan in which Sindh Women team finished the final game as a one-sided encounter on 12-4 score line as the opponent team, Gilgit Baltistan was not able to make com back to score more due to the excellent skills displayed by the winner team whose players did not allow them to pass their ball through the basket instead kept scoring for their side which seemed quite easy to them because of the vulnerable blocking of the loser team.
While Islamabad was able to claim the third positions in the Women’s event beating Balochistan. but Islamabad fell to Gilgit Baltistan on huge margin of 13-5 goals the was not able to win the third position match in the Men's category.
