Quaid-E-Azam, Evan, Junoon & Al-Muslim Cricket Clubs victorious in ICA CUP 2019
Quaid-E-Azam, Evan, Junoon and Al-Muslim Cricket Clubs defeated their respective opponents and claimed the win in the matches played into Islamabad Cricket Association (ICA) Cup 2019 at different venues.
The first match for the day was played between Quaid-E-Azam Cricket Club and CRA Crciket Club in which Quaid-E-Azam CC dominated the match as the players defeated the opponent team by 35 runs at Shalimar Cricket Ground. The winning team scored 189-8 in 20 overs and to it response, CRA Club could score 154-8 in allotted overs.
The second clash witnessed Evan Cricket Club's win over National Cricket Club by 8 wickets at the same venue. Zarak and Tariq were the heroes to bring victory of the match for their team as Zarak Khan hit 62 and Tariq Pervez hit unbeaten 91 to help Evan CC beat the opponent team; National CC.
P&T Cricket Club fell to Junoon Cricket Club by 37 runs at XI-Star Cricket Ground in the third encounter with Shahid Ilyas grabbing 6-13. And the last match saw Al-Muslim Cricket Club beating Punjab Cricket Club by 4 wickets at the same venue with Sarmad Bhatti smashing 68.
